Careers at HTS

HTS is a co-educational independent university prep day school with 760 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12. The campus is situated on 37 acres adjacent to the Oak Ridges Moraine, north or Toronto. HTS is affiliated with the Anglican Church of Canada and is an accredited member of the Conference of Independent Schools of Ontario (CIS) and the Canadian Accredited Independent Schools (CAIS).

HTS provides a stimulating environment for enthusiastic teachers and staff to encourage, challenge and inspire bright young students to live and learn to their full potential - mentally, physically, emotionally and morally. HTS prides itself on developing young people with exceptional capabilities and a strong moral compass.

Our salaries, benefits and vacation periods are comparable or better than those offered in independent and publicly funded schools. HTS teachers are also part of the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. There are ample funds for classroom resources and professional development.

Successful applicants will have an OTC and be ready to enjoy an active role in co-curricular sports, arts and community outreach.

Typically, we advertise available positions on our website, on the CIS and CAIS websites, the local paper and the Globe and Mail.  Positions normally become available between the months of February and May.  Positions may become available during the rest of the year, depending on the circumstances of our faculty and staff.
