Setting

Located at 11300 Bayview Avenue, north of Elgin Mills Road in Richmond Hill, HTS is idyllically situated on 37 wooded acres on the Oak Ridges Moraine.

Facilities

46 classrooms, a 360-seat theatre, state-of-the-art Music Department, Art Department with Mac labs, 2 libraries and 400-seat Dining Hall. Separate facilities for Junior and Middle/Senior School, with 3 gyms, 3 playing fields, 4 tennis courts and an outdoor classroom, as well as a 12-acre woodlot with nature trail.

Houses

Every student is assigned to one of six HTS Houses – MacDonald, Langton, Thorne, Bishop, Rose and Champlain. The school year sees many friendly competitions. Our house system fosters a close-knit atmosphere and helps instil a sense of belonging.

Alumni Constituents: over 2,000

HTS alumni are exceptionally loyal, remaining in touch with the school long past graduation. At the annual job fair, many alumni return to share workplace knowledge and experience, helping current students identify future career paths.
