Heather MacDonald earned both her BA and her BEd at Queen’s University. An accomplished equestrian, she competed nationally on the A circuit, later becoming a successful breeder of Champion Sport Horses and a nationally rated Hunter/Jumper horse show judge.
At HTS, Heather is an energetic homeroom teacher in Junior School. She has also led classes in the Primary and Senior divisions, and has coached Middle School co-curriculars. She thrives on the commitment to lifelong learning that HTS promotes, and has enjoyed watching the school (as well as the students) develop since joining the faculty in 1996.
Heather is happily married to husband, David with whom she has three children. When not cheering them on at soccer and hockey games, she can be found relaxing with her family at their farm and cottage.
