Brad Stephens grew up on his family’s farm near St. Marys, Ontario. He is a graduate of the Mathematics Teaching Option programme at the University of Waterloo, and earned his Bachelor of Education at the University of Western Ontario’s Althouse College. He has been a teacher at HTS since 1993
During his first few years at HTS, Brad taught Senior School mathematics courses. Eventually he settled into his current role as a Middle School homeroom, math and science teacher. When computer problems arise, Brad provides IT support for the Middle School faculty and students. Outside of the classroom, Brad coaches U13 and U14 basketball and softball. He strives to help his players develop their individual skills and understand the basics of team play.
Brad is an active member of his church where he serves as the Sunday School Superintendent. He and his wife Stephanie have two children, Ben and Andrew who currently attend HTS.
