Everyday, you can and do make a difference to young people and your colleagues.  You will be working along side teachers and staff, many of whom have years of service at HTS and who continually seek to renew themselves and strive for constant improvement in all aspects of their work.  The students are equally energetic and often make your day.  Our parent volunteers seek out ways and means to support your efforts while remaining respectful of appropriate boundaries.  You can and will participate in decision making.

Our salaries, benefits and vacation periods are comparable or better than those offered in independent and publicly funded schools. HTS teachers are also part of the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan.

There are ample funds for classroom resources and professional development.

Typically, we advertise available positions on our website, on the CIS and CAIS websites, the local paper and the Globe and Mail.  Positions normally become available between the months of February and May.  Positions may become available during the rest of the year, depending on the circumstances of our faculty and staff.
