The primary focus of the guidance and counseling school program is to promote and enhance student learning for all students through

  • Academic Development,
  • Personal and Social counseling and
  • University and Career Development counseling.

Mission

Counsellors will work in a collaborative approach to support each students learning process and to promote academic achievement with consideration of student ability and learning style. We Believe that:

  • Active participation by students is key to the learning process
  • A successful guidance program encourages and supports life long learning
  • Each student is unique
  • Students and counsellors should be held accountable to a level of excellence
  • Family and community partnerships are essential for student learning
  • Respect and support of others is essential
