Japan Trip Update

HTS students and faculty are safe, healthy and currently on their way to a hotel in Sapporo, Japan. We understand that the party of over 40 students and faculty members expect to arrive in Toronto Monday evening but this has yet to be confirmed. The group is tired but in otherwise good spirits as seen in a photo here, taken at the airport earlier in the day. Two more HTS families who are currently also in Japan for the March break are travelling together, safe and have been in contact with HTS. This afternoon Mr. Hughes spoke directly with faculty member and tour leader Mr. Kaklamanos, who reported that all the students are well and looking forward to returning home. Any information we receive will be updated on the website and communicated to the parents of the students on the trip via email until the group arrives home.
