Overview

HTS is dedicated to providing safe, reliable bus transportation for our students. After extensive research, we have chosen to partner with First Student Charter Bus Service. First Student has a proven track record of putting student safety first, as well as providing a reliable, trustworthy service that is always on time.

Annual bus passes range from $1,130 to $1,695.00, depending on the type of service you choose. We are offering both two-way and one-way service to best accommodate everyone’s scheduling needs, as well as two different departure times after school for students who stay late for extra-curricular activities.

Safety First

Increasing bus ridership will reduce parking lot congestion during prime pick-up and drop-off times, which will translate into a safer, less chaotic environment for students before and after school.

The First Student buses are modern, well-maintained and very safe overall. Many statistics indicate that school buses are the safest mode of transportation for youth.

Promoting Independence

Taking the bus allows students to become more independent, organized and accustomed to adhering to schedules. Riding the bus is also a great opportunity for students to socialize with each other, and to make friends they may not have otherwise met.

HTS offers flexible, cost-effective bus pass options.

Our current prices are as follows:

Full Bus Pass

$1,130.00 (incl. $130.00 HST) - please register by July 1, 2012.

$1,695.00 (incl. $195.00 HST)

Morning or Afternoon Only Bus Pass - Subject to availability of space on the bus

$1,073.50 (incl. $123.50 HST) - Morning or Afternoon Only Bus Pass

$1,130.00 (incl. $130.00 HST)

It’s important to note that as more people sign up for the HTS Bus Service, the cost will go down significantly. HTS offers a 5 per cent discount for early registration.

The greener alternative

Did you know that one school bus transporting 48 students produces fewer emissions than one large SUV carrying just one or two students? Clearly, getting students to HTS in a handful of buses is much easier on the environment than having dozens and dozens of cars on the road each day.
