“Tradition. Without our traditions our lives would be as
shaky as…a fiddler on the roof!”
HTS is proud to present the musical masterpiece Fiddler on the Roof –
running February 27 to March 2 in the Frank M. D’Andrea theatre.
The HTS production of Fiddler
explores the importance of custom, culture and community within a Jewish family
living in pre-revolution Tsarist Russia, and takes on tough topics in an
engaging and uplifting manner through song, dance and vivid set and costume
design.
The school’s 21st annual production showcases the
broad range of
talent in our Senior School, and stars veterans of the HTS stage
including Raj P. as
Tevye, Artimes G. as Golde and Natasha N as Yente; as well new faces Madeline A. and Dallas R. and a solid
ensemble
of student singers, dancers and musicians and actors from Grades 9
through 12.
