Lucy Tao is Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of MetCap Living Group. MetCap Living is one of the largest multi-family property management companies in Canada with a portfolio of over $2 billion of real estate assets under management. The company manages portfolios across Canada for clientele ranging from pension funds and REITs to condominiums and private owners. In her role, Lucy oversees all aspects of finance, taxation and treasury and is focused on portfolio value maximization for clients. Since joining MetCap in 1996, Lucy has also been involved in numerous acquisitions and dispositions of properties.
Lucy joined the Board of Governors in 2016. She previously volunteered as a Grade Parent and a former member of the Finance and Risk Management Committee from 2014 to 2020 and currently serves on the Governance and Nominations Committee.
Lucy holds a Certified Public Accountant/Chartered Accountant designation and has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from McGill University. She and her husband Anthony have three children, Brendan ’17, Cameron ’19 and Katelyn ’23. Lucy volunteers with various charitable and non-profit organizations, including two medical mission trips to Africa, and is a past board member of the YWCA.
