Daniella is Associate General Counsel and Director of Special Investigations with the Global Investigations - Legal and Regulatory Compliance Group at the Bank of Montreal. She leads a team that is responsible for investigating matters that involve criminal, civil, regulatory or reputational risk.
Prior to joining the Bank of Montreal, Daniella held senior roles with the Enforcement Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission where she was responsible for leading teams that investigated complex securities related matters. Prior to obtaining her law degree, Daniella completed her Master of Arts Degree in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Law and Society. She also holds Certificates in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Blockchains, Smart Contracts and the Law.
Daniella is actively involved in her community and previously co-chaired a charity golf tournament that raised funds for The Heart and Stroke Foundation. The money raised placed Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in local GTA schools and was also allocated for heart and stroke research.
Daniella and her husband have two children that attend HTS. Daniella has been a Board Member since 2016 and is currently a member of the Governance Committee.
