Studying for their math exams was as easy as playing a clue game for Grade 7 student.
On May 19, twenty-four Grade 7 students participated in "The Great Escape" as their chosen FLEX option. Students had to work as a team to solve puzzles using the math concepts they had learned throughout the year. After solving these puzzles, students had to think outside the box to determine how to use these clues. In making connections between the clues and a location or a lock combination, each team could solve the mystery. Students were very engaged in problem-solving. One student stated, "I liked how I was almost tricked into studying for my exam. It was a great way to study and have some fun!"
