Sharing Day Challenge

Brian Csinos, Director of Experiential Learning
From January through April, students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 were encouraged to enter the Sharing Day Challenge to share with the HTS community their engagement with a charity or organization.

Students submitted 60 second persuasive pitch videos explaining their involvement with a charity or organization. The Selection Committee, composed of faculty and students, narrowed down submissions to three finalists who gave powerful presentations on how they serve and walk beside others during Trinco Day Chapel on May 11.

Congratulations to our 2018 Sharing Day Challenge finalists:
1st Grace B. who supports the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
2nd Kaitlyn A. who supports High-5 Soccer
3rd Sarah D. who supports World Partnership Walk

Trinco Day Sharing Day funds were divided amongst the three finalists (1st received 45%, 2nd received 30% and 3rd received 25%) to donate to their charity or organization.

Thank you to everyone who participated, and inspired others to serve. We look forward to hearing more about individuals in our HTS community serving others, and for our next annual Sharing Day Challenge.
