Holy Trinity School (HTS) respects your privacy. The information we collect is used by us in order to process a request for information by you or for marketing our products or services. We do not provide personal information or your requests to any entities or individuals outside of HTS unless it is necessary to provide you with services from HTS or when required by law. We will not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. Your personal information is processed and stored in secure and confidential databases with strict access controls. If you provided us with personal information through the HTS website, you have the option to request that we not contact you in the future. Please see the Contact section below.

  • Types of Information Collected

    In the course of operating the HTS website, we may collect two types of information about our users: Personal Information and Non-Personal Information.

    "Personal Information" is personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, email address, telephone number. Personal Information is collected by HTS when you choose to provide it to us when requesting information, requesting a service or registering for an event. In addition, if you choose to contact an HTS employee, we may keep a record of that correspondence so that we may fully address the subject matter. We may also receive Personal Information from our service partners and other third parties, provided that such third parties confirm to us that you have permitted them to share such information.

    "Non-Personal Information" is information of an anonymous nature, such as your Internet Protocol Address ("IP Address"), the domain you may have used to access the HTS website, the type and version of browser or operating system you may be using, and the website you may have come from and visit next. Aggregate information, such as demographic statistics of our users (e.g., average age or geographical allocation of our users), number of visitors and average time spent on the HTS website, is also considered Non-Personal Information. Non-Personal Information is collected or derived by us in the course of operating the HTS website. For example, our web analytics providers may automatically collect Non-Personal Information which is provided through your browser or stored on a Cookie (as defined herein) when you choose to visit the HTS website. Non-Personal Information is used by HTS as described in this Privacy Policy.
  • Use of Personal Information Collected

    Personal Information may be used by HTS for the following purposes:

    • To provide services for which you have registered.
    • To provide you with information you have requested
    • To understand your needs.
    • To enhance your visitor experience.
    • To assist us in creating new services that will serve you better.

    HTS may also use Personal Information if it has reasonable grounds to believe the information could be useful when investigating a contravention of a federal, provincial or foreign law or in order to protect or defend a legal interest.
  • Use of Non-Personal Information Collected

    HTS collects Non-Personal Information to measure the use of our site, to improve the content of our site, to evaluate technical performance and to identify problem areas.

    Children under the age of majority must obtain the permission of a parent or guardian before providing us with any personal information. Individuals under the age of majority should always ask their parents or guardians for permission before providing any personal information to anyone online. We urge parents and guardians to participate in their children's online activities and use parental control or other web filtering technology to supervise children's access to the web.
  • Disclaimer to Security

    While we do our best to protect your personal information using secure web pages, we cannot guarantee the security of any information that you transmit to HTS. You are solely responsible for maintaining that any personal information you provide to us online is done so over a secure connection to the Internet. The HTS website contains links to other sites and we attempt to only link to sites that share our high standards and respect for privacy. Links to third-party websites are provided as a convenience for our site visitors and do not constitute endorsement or control of their content. Other Internet sites or services that may be accessible through the HTS website have separate data and privacy practices independent of us, and therefore we disclaim any responsibility or liability for their policies or actions. You are advised to read the privacy policy of external sites before disclosing any personal information. Please contact those vendors and others directly if you have any questions about their privacy policies.
  • Changes to this Privacy Policy

    This Privacy Policy may be changed at any time by revision to this document on the HTS website.
