The HTS Integrated Arts Department welcomes you to the 20th Anniversary of The Frank D’Andrea Theatre for a night of whodunit mayhem!
Grade 9-12 students have been working diligently behind the scenes to bring to life the production based on the screenplay by Johnathan Lynn.
Was it Colonel Mustard in the ballroom with a candlestick? Or maybe Miss Peacock in the study with the rope? If you have fond memories of gathering around a game board and guessing “whodunnit” then you won’t want to miss this year’s Senior School Play production of CLUE!
Part murder mystery, part farce, part social commentary, this hilarious show takes the audience on a journey to Boddy Manor where, on a dark and stormy night, the guests have been invited for an evening of blackmail and murder!
The play leaves no comedic trope unturned and will delight audiences with clever wordplay, slapstick comedy, and mistaken identities, as each guest attempts to solve the murders while avoiding being the next victim. It even leaves room for a conversation about false accusations and misinformation in an era of paranoid nationalism.
The HTS Integrated Arts department has a proud tradition of offering the community an excellent and highly entertaining production, and this year will not disappoint!
An ingenious set, fabulous lighting and sound, along with the amazing performances from our two casts of Grade 9-12 students will undoubtedly leave audiences wanting more.
CLUE runs from Thursday, February 29 – Saturday, March 2 and will be performed in the Frank D’Andrea Theatre at 7:30 pm with an additional matinee on Saturday, March 2 at 2:00 pm.
