Ms Lauren Hunt


Physical Education Teacher

Lauren’s undergraduate studies were at Laurentian University, Honours Bachelor of Physical and Health Education (Outdoor Adventure Leadership) followed by a Bachelor of Education at Trent University in Physical and Health Education and First Nations, Métis and Inuit Studies.

Her background includes teaching Physical and Health Education, Leadership and Outdoor Education. An avid outdoor enthusiast, Lauren is a Wilderness First Responder, Wilderness Guide, Ski Instructor and 4-season hiker/camper. Her FNMI education and experience as a trained Fire Keeper at Trent University’s First People’s House of Learning provide a foundation for continuous professional learning. Importantly, it frames her holistic leadership philosophy in education, coaching and mentoring students.
